Cyclists’ Union, Zagreb, Croatia
Damir Kapuđija is the director of Integrated Traffic of Zagreb Area Company from 2015. The aim of the Company is to prepare and implement projects related to establishing a new model of passenger transport organization and managing it in the geographical area of the City of Zagreb, Zagreb County and Krapinsko-zagorska County, and was established in 2012.
Krešimir Dvorski is the co-founder and one of the directors of Nextbike Croatia, since 2013. The company currently has 30,000 users in 20 cities in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will soon spread to Slovenia.
Slavko Štefičar is an advisor to the Croatia Railways Infrastructure Board since 2016, terminating an eight-year position as the Chief Coordinator of the Pro rail Alliance.
Emil Kirbiš, co-founder of Zagreb Pedicab, and Filip Pribilović, have complemented their knowledge and long-standing work experience in management, sales and tourism to develop a transport of citizens and tourists in Zagreb's rickshaws.
Dr. Ivana Podnar Žarko is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia where she teaches distributed information systems. She leads the Internet of Things Laboratory, and is the coordinator of H2020 project symbIoTe: Symbiosis of smart objects across IoT environments.
Bernard Ivčić is the Transport programme coordinator at Green Action - Friends of the Earth Croatia, and the former president. The Transport programme was established in 2005, due to the growing need for improvement not only of cycling traffic and infrastructure but also of public urban and suburban transport system.
Cargonomia is a low-tech logistic center providing solutions for the transport of goods, in particular healthy and locally produced food in Budapest. It also a place to try out, rent and/or buy several types of cargobikes to solve your own transport needs.
“Slovenska kolesarska mreža” is a voluntary and non-profit association of organizations, who joined in faith of encouraging cycling in Slovenia, to influence a permanent development of pedestrian, cyclist and public transport friendly traffic, to coordinate the movement of the organisations,and to represent them in a dialog with the national administration and international movements.
“Cyklokoalicia” is a non-profit advocacy expert group that aims to improve bicycle infrastructure in Bratislava and all over Slovakia. The coalition also covers needs of pedestrians and supports quality public spaces.
“NaTochak” is a group of enthusiasts who fight for better cycling conditions in Skopje.
In early 2010, a motivated group of cycle enthusiasts in Vienna founded the “Lastenradkollektiv” (LRK) as a sort of “cargo bike share”. The collective embraces the idea of a solidarity economy: cargo bike use should not aim for profit and commercial advantage but strive for solidarity and try to respond to actual needs.
“Popka” is a periodical bike-kitchen in Split, which provides citizens a free service and teaches them to repair your bikes themselves with the help of volunteers.
Association "Varaždinski biciklisti" was initiated by the Varaždin cyclists on social networks, which are not satisfied with the current state of cycling infrastructure and safety in the city and want the position of cyclists in the city to improve.
“Ulice za bicikliste” is an independent organization committed to improving biking conditions and increasing the visibility of cyclists in highly-trafficked areas of Belgrade. We hope to see cycling and walking culture overtake car culture, which is outdated and in many ways threatens citizens’ well-being.
“Centar za životnu sredinu” is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization of professionals and activists dedicated to protecting and improving the environment, advocating the principles of sustainable development and greater public participation in decision-making on the environment.
“Sindikat biciklista” is a voluntary association which advocates the improvement of conditions for cycling as efficient, sustainable and healthy means of transport. We advocate for and work on the transformation of the cities into clean, safe, comfortable and green urban areas, promoting the ‘cities for people’ approach and cycling as a desirable way of transport.
Rock'n'roll band from Zagreb - MARKIZ was formed in 2009. Nine years later, they released the third studio album “RED”, which received good comments and reviews, and is already receiving some rewards!
“Čipkice” are a small vocal ensemble made up of a dozen versatile girls. They began their journey in 2008 at a Sevdah workshop, which brought the idea of founding an ensemble that would perform traditional music from around the world. Under the direction of Ldija Dokuzović, a renowned ethno musician and vocalist of group called “Afion”, “Čipkice“ learned their repertoire at various workshops of traditional music, and perform it a cappella or with musical accompaniment.

If you've been watching Supertalent on Croatian TV, you've surely noticed the fine-cut sextet with the sparkling instruments played like Scatman John, these guys are called the Scifidelity Orchestra. The band's name hides six musicians from Međimurje, including five brothers - Stjepan, Benjamin and Filip Horvat, and Abel and Joshua Kovacevic, along with Roberta Pajić from Karlovac. Musical follow the combination of jazz, dixie and ska music, of course with blow instruments.
Za dobru glazbenu selekciju zadužen je DJ Oli Doboli. Zajedno s Emiliom Dalbellom i DJ Veinom dugi niz godina vodio je emisiju Original Flava Show na Hrvatskom Radiju 2. Urednik je vodećeg hrvatskog hip-hop portala www.hip-hop.hr. Kao DJ nastupao je diljem, čest gost je i u Sloveniji i Makedoniji, a prateći Edu Maajku kao službeni DJ na nastupima prošao je gotovo cijelu Europu.
A well-known turntable professor, the award-winning DJ Venom, comes straight from the plum trees to close the Pedalafest programme, with liquid lunch or dinner. Relax.
Nan De Ska is a Zagreb based band that has been operating since 2003. Bend originally plays a mix of ska-reggae music, but have implemented over the years some funk, pop, rock and indispensable disco. The band's soundtracks are drum section, bass and guitar shares, which regularly give you a solid and dance ska-reggae base, later relying on melodic vocals and brass, to make it all raise to a new level and turn into a dance, singing and an infectious whole.
Goulash Disko je kulturno-glazbena mreža umjetnika Europe i festival koji okuplja prvenstveno world-music scenu te je prvi u Hrvatskoj koji je financiran putem crowdfundinga. Goulash Disko festival, svake godine zatvara festivalsku godinu u Komiži na otoku Visu, a ove godine održava se 12.-16. rujna, 2018.
We invite the youngest to come (accompanied by their parents) and try cycling on a fun and an instructive bike path. The bike path is intended for children who know how to ride a bike, even if they still use training wheels. On the bike path, they will learn which traffic signs they have to follow, and how to act properly while riding a bicycle.
The main goal is to give people a tool for a happier, healthier and more active life. Hooping connects different people, puts a smile on their face, strengthen muscles, brings you back to shape and teaches us that we can do whatever we want as long as we give it a try.

Andrea Matić, a teacher of visual arts, tries to reduce chaos and disorder and bring in the line by drawing patiently crafted mandala.
The symbolic mandala represents the universe, which will be filled with symbols, wishes and personal characters. Work will be done by cut-out paper technique, and those who are too small to use scalpels will colour mandals in their favorite colors.
Slacklining is a practice in balance that typically uses nylon or polyester webbing tensioned between two anchor points. Slacklining has quickly become popular due to its simplicity and versatility and its ability to be practiced in a variety of environments. Beside strengthening core and leg muscles, and improving balance and concentration, it is also fun! Try it!

A happy Croatian-Czech duo which entertains the young and the old. Their tools are magic wands dipped in a magical liquid! With some help from natural elements such as water and wind, they produce large bubbles which will take you up into the stars with their magic! Come and take a gander at this incredible giant balloon phenomenon.
Modelled on traditional Alka we have created a form of entertainment in which you should try to hit target with spear while riding a bike instead of a horse!
Acro Yoga is an art that combines yoga, acrobatics and therapeutic skills in a unique way, and it is also a dynamic, fun and interactive form of exercise, which deepens the trust and communication between the two (or more) people. Prior knowledge is not necessary so everyone is free to join us at the presentation of this skill and workshop!

Aerial dance is the most impressive aerial acrobatics you will be taken by dance artists and coaches.
It develops the whole body and is immensely fun and addictive!
The festival also features a cycling event called "Critical Mass", a bike ride with a message which gathers cyclists with the aim of putting pressure on local authorities and demanding a better cycling infrastructure. A positive and cheerful atmosphere fills the event, giving the riders an opportunity to ride through the city and uniting them in their wish for change.
